Divisions
This year the State Speech Contest and the National Speech Contest are conducted under the following divisions. Applications are on a first-come basis, and the number of contestants is limited to 10 in High School Senior, 5 in Open Beginner and 10 in Open Division.
Background speakers can compete in either High School Senior or Open Division. Please see the eligibility for each division in the Contest Guide Eligibility Section.
